Participants will be taught horse history, horse care, grooming, saddling and western riding in this four week introductory class. Week one introduces you to Shadow Glen Stables, horse safety and basic care of the horse. Week two is how to catch a horse, crossties and knots used to properly tie a horse. Week three is learning parts of the saddle, how to care for the tack, catching a horse again and a shoeing demonstration. Week four ends with catching and saddling your own horse and going for a ride.

Lego Robotics: Motor Madness Camp - 110074

It's all about cars! Calling all car lovers out there!

During this 5 day camp, children will build a new kind of car every day and learn the concepts surrounding it. For example one day might focus on a power car where children try different gear combinations and another day might focus on building a car with sails and learn all about wind resistance and its effect on speed. Some models will focus on programming too.

IntelliBricks will provide all LEGO® and touch screen computers for the camp. Children cannot take home any of their creations or LEGO® products. Look for our pictures in your email at the end of our camp. LEGO® group of companies does not sponsor, authorize or endorse any of our programs.

Please send a snack with your child every day. Ages 5-10

Arduino and the Island of Podpi - 110075

Welcome to the Island of PodPi, a series of technology adventures for kids. During this half day week long Spring Camp, your kids will meet several characters from the Island who will teach them the basic concepts of Java Script Programming and electronics, including the use of LEDs, various sensors and servo motors. IntelliBricks will provide touch screen laptops for programming. Ages 9-15

By the end of the week, children will take home the following items:

Our workshop gives you an opportunity to bring your biggest boxes of loose pictures, memorabilia, and photo albums to class where you will learn the ABC’s of organizing your memories. After completing your first organizing activity, you will choose some of your favorite photos for a free digital scanning. At the end of this class you will walk away with 80 - 100 scanned photos, or six photo album sides, to add to your digital collection. You are encouraged to bring a flash drive or an external drive to class for transporting your scanned memories. Bring your laptop if you need help creating folders/albums for your scanned photos.

Printmaking - Exploring Monotypes - 111840

Learn to create one of a kind fine art prints in this 6 week course. Each week students learn and practice a new technique that is fun and challenging. Using the Griffin etching press at 48 Natoma, students explore monotype printmaking processes using water based inks. Papers and inks are discussed before purchasing. This class is designed for the novice as well as those with some printmaking experience. If you enjoy painting or drawing, this is a class that would interest you. A supply list will be sent upon registration. Open studio is available after students have learned proper use of the press.
