Thursday, May 11, 2017
Join Mayor Andy Morin and local cyclists for a free, non-competitive ride to celebrate the regional May is Bike Month event.

Cyclists depart at 8:30 a.m. and ride approx. 30 miles to finish at the State Capitol grounds and join in the Capitol Bike Fest.

After the festival, riders may rejoin the group to ride back to Folsom or hop aboard light rail (free tickets for participants).

Questions about the event can be directed to Jim Konopka, jkonopka@folsom.ca.us

Trail Days Volunteer - 589908

Join us for the 23rd annual Trails Day! This year we’ll work on a portion of the Johnny Cash Trail and surrounding space adjacent to the future site of the Cash Legacy Park. Volunteers will help plant native trees and assist with trail clean-up, stenciling, and other tasks. This is a rain or shine event. Volunteers should wear appropriate work clothes and shoes; all tools are provided. This event is free but you must pre-register to participate. Volunteers receive a commemorative Trails Day T-shirt and lunch. Due to the physical nature of the work, volunteers must be at least age 16.

Volunteers should gather just prior to 9 a.m.; parking is available in the vacant lot on the northwest corner of East Natoma Street where it meets Folsom Lake Crossing Road (see map on the attached flyer).
